Kevätvaihto - Spring Swap

Vaihdoin minejä Meritan nukkiksen, Narina näpertää -blogin Irinan, Plushpussycatin Jenniferin, Tiinan sekä blogittomien Satun ja Johannan kanssa. Olipa piristävää! Teema oli vapaa, tai keväinen jos niin halusi :) Tässä yhteiskuvassa kaikkien minit (paitsi Satun, jotka tulivat juuri, mutta en ole vielä ehtinyt kuvata! Niistä erikseen.). Ihania, eikö?

I swapped minis with Merita, Irina from Narina näpertää, Jennifer of Plushpussycat, Tiina and Satu and Johanna that don't have blogs. So nice! Theme was open, or spring is needed :) Here is everything I received, so lovely don't you think (Satu's minis are not displayed here, they just came and I haven't taken photos yet, but I will later!)?

Täkkejä, täkkejä - Duvets and more duvets!

Olen vähän innostunut tekemään näitä retrotäkkejä, joita minulla on ihan oikeassa elämässä monia (osa koiran käytössä, pitäähän sen pedin sopia sisustukseen). Ei tämä taida tähänkään jäädä, vielä on liian monta herkullista kangasta!

I've been collecting vintage duvet's (mostly Finnish from 60's and 70's), and they were a must-be also in doll house scale! I think I've gone a bit crazy with these, and there are more duvets waiting to be born. So many beautiful fabrics waiting to be something!

Tilkkupeitto - Quilt

Puuhailen vaihtominien parissa, mutta jotain muutakin syntyi välipalana. Ostin palan "tilkkukangasta" Sarilta Nukkekotikirppikseltä. Välissä on pari ohutta vanulevyä, taustana tilkkutyöpuuvillaa ja reunassa 1 mm alumiinilanka. Mielestäni onnistunut kokeilu!

I'm working with the swap items but I had inspiration for something else too! I bought a piece of "quilted" fabric from a facebook doll house group. In the middle there's a few layers of wadding, and the some quilting cotton as the base fabric. 1 mm thick aluminium string goes around the border. I think it turned out quite authentic!

Kevätvaihto? - Spring swap, anyone?

Vinttikomeroon ovia - Doors to the attic cabinets

Vinttikamari on saanut ovet varsinaiselle vintille! Ne on tehty pahvista ja karmit jäätelötikuista. Kahvat väänsi rautalangasta samalla tavalla kuin keittiökaappien vetimetkin.

The attic room has now doors to the actual attic (they are fake though, I haven't yet doorways behind doors though there is a room behind). They are made of cardboard and the frames are ice cream sticks. Handles are made of wire the same way as in the kitchen.

Aurinkoisen vintti on vähän haasteellinen sisustaa, koska se on syvä ja todella matala. Siksi olen alunperin tämän väliseinän laittanutkin, jotta tila ei olisi reunalta aivan niin matala. Nyt pitäis vielä keksiä mitä muuta kamarissa voisi olla kuin sänky! Vaikeaa.

My doll house's attic is a bit difficult to furnish, it is so deep and the ceiling is steep and low on the edges. That's why I made this extra wall in the first place, it's not so low on the other edge now. Now I should figure out what else should be in this room than the bed! It's difficult.

Hyllykkö kierrätyskeskuksesta 5 e, pienempiin aion järjestää tavarat kuukauden perusteella (karhupaperinpalat ovat kalenterisivuja), kun niitä sattui olemaan 12!
This little organizer is from a recycling center, and it's not quite ready yet. My idea is to arrange stuff into some kind of a month order (pieces of paper with bears in them are calendar pages), because there are 12 of those smaller boxes.
