Pyörä, vaja & piknik - Bicycle, shed and a picnic

Kaksosilla on tietenkin tandempyörä! Olen tämän kierrätyskeskuksesta ostanut (ja näitä on toinenkin, valkoinen, jos sattuisi tämän kanssa epäonnistumaan). Vanteet maalasin hopeisiksi, päällystin satulat ja ohjaustangot, ja askartelin soittokellon. Soittokello on tärkeä, toivoisi sitä suomalaistenkin enemmän käyttävän, kun usein takaa tulevasta pyörästä ei kuule muuten mitään!

What do the twins ride? A tandem bike, of course! It was found in the recycling center with another white one (I'm keeping it to make sure I won't be left without if I damage this one…). I painted the wheels silvery and made the covers for the seats and handlebars. I also made the bell which is very important in my opinion! Sometimes bikes are so quiet you can't hear them and are in danger to be drove over.

Näin tuo soittokello on tehty: kaksi nastan hattua (sellaista mallia josta irtosi koko metalliosa, näistä vanhoista joita kuvassa on ei irtoaisi, mutta voihan piikin leikata pois), pienen kellotiu'un kieli, sinitarraa väliin ja valmista tuli!

Making-of the ring bell: to pin heads (these came from pins the plastic part was easily removed but you could just cut the needle away), a small bell's sting? clapper? (the part making the sound anyway), blue-tack in the middle and you're ready!

Soittokello paikallaan (sinitarrakiinnityksellä sekin). Satulat on päällystetty kangastilkuilla, jotka on kiinnitetty alapuolelle maalarinteipillä, sangat taas edesmenneen Tiimarin kangasteipillä.

Bell on it's right place (attached with blue-tack, too). The saddles are covered with pieces of fabric and taped on place underneath each saddle, handles are covered with fabric tape.

This is a wood shed from Erja Helander's kit! So cute though real-life wood sheds I don't consider that cute. There will be an out-side lavatory and of course place to store wood. You'll see soon!

Kun me ahkeroimme, minikokoiset Anna ja Leeni ottivat rennosti kesäisissä tunnelmissa. Olivatpa he eilen meriaiheisessa nukkekotitapaamisessa, joka varmaan verotti voimia vielä tänäänkin! Siitä enemmän myöhemmin.

While we were working hard on building, tiny Anna and Leeni were chilling out. They were yesterday in a doll house meeting that took there strenght still today! More to come about that later on!

Mminiherkut ovat suurimmilta osin Jatan käsialaa, letut on tehnyt Happy Little Muffinin Mirja ja jäätelöt Elämää koossa 1:12 -blogin Susanna. Päivänvarjo, kansituoli ja piknik-kori on saatu ystäviltä lahjaksi, vaatteet, simpukkarasia ja täkit omatekemiä.
