6.12 - 6th of December

Kymmeniä metrejä kohtisuoraan ylöspäin Kettujen kolosta löytyy kolme rakennusta. Ensimmäinen näyttää minusta kanalalta, eikö teistäkin? Hmm. Nämä taitaat kuulua Pösölle, Pärskälle ja Papulle.

Tens of meters above Foxes nest stands three buildings. First one looks like a chicken house, doesn't it? Hmm. I think these belong to Bunce, Boggis and Bean.

Joku on tehnyt lumilyhdyn, ei Pärskän tyylistä! Mitäs tuolla nurkan takana vilahtaa? Eiväthän pikkuketut voi tänne päästä?

Somebody has made a lantern out of snow, that can't be Buggis can it? What's there around the corner, surely little Foxes can't come here since they are trapped in their nest?

5.12. - 5th of December

Kettuperhe joutui muuttamaan pakon edessä. Ne joille tarina ei ole tuttu kerrottakoon, että herra Ketun metsästystottumuksen kolmen tilanomistajan (Pösö, Pärskä ja Papu) mailla saivat nämä kolme herra raivoihinsa. He yrittivät kaivaa ketut pesästään, joten Ketut joutuivat kaivamaan uuden pesän hyvin syvälle laakson alle. Kun tilanomistajat eivät voineet enää kaivaa syvemmälle, he jäivät kololle odottamaan, jotta nälkään nääntyvät ketut joutuisivat näyttäytymään. Niin ei ole vielä tänäkään päivänä käynyt. Miksiköhän ei? Polttopuita on ainakin jostain saatu, ja mattoja. Kummallista! Ja missäs Ketut ovat nyt?

The Fox Family was forced to leave their previous home. Those who don't know the story, here is a short version: Mr. Fox had a habit of stealing some food on the lands of three landlords (Boggis, Bunce and Bean) which made these gentlemen furious. They tried to dug the Foxes out of their whole which forced the family to dug their new home very deep under the dale. When Boggis, Bunce and Bean couldn't dug no deeper they decided to wait for the starving Foxes to come out from the hole. That hasn't yet happened but why? They have seemingly got firewood and rugs from somewhere. That's strange! And where are they now?

4.12.- 4th of December

Nukkumaanmenoaika (ketut ovat yöeläimiä)!

Bed time (the fox is a night active animal)!

Siskonpetissä on näemmä mukavaa! Mitähän viides joulukuuta tuo tullessaan?

This is called "sisters' bed" or maybe "sibling bed" in Finland. Little Foxes seem to enjoy themselves! What might happen on 5th of December?

3.12. - 3rd of December

Jaha, kolossahan on toinenkin huone! Mitä löytyy sen takaa?

There appears to be another room in the hole! What's behind it?

Makuuhuonehan se! Koska koti on niin uusi ei kaikille vielä ole sänkyjä. Lapsia ei kuitenkaan haittaa nukkua patjoilla!

A bedroom! Because this is a very new home, the Foxes don't have a bed for everyone in the family. But mattresses for the children will do!

Ensimmäiset huonekalut on hankittu! Tunnistatteko pöydän materiaalin? Lienee Pösön, Pärskän tai Papun varastoista viety ovi...

The first furnitures have arrived! Do you recognize what the table is made from? I'd bet it's a door from Boggis', Bunce' or Bean's storage...

Tässä kelpaa syödä jouluateriaakin, eikö?

1.12. - 1st of December

 Mäellä laakson takana oli metsä.

Metsässä oli valtavan iso puu.

Puun alla oli onkalo.

Onkalossa asuivat isäkettu ja äitikettu ja heidän neljä pikkukettuaan.

On the hill behind the valley there was a forest.

Löytö! A treasure!

Löysin aarteen! Hintaa oli 5 euroa Kierrätyskeskuksessa.

I found a treasure from the local recycling center! I cost me 5 euros, not bad!

 Se on Lisa-nukkekoti (jossain myös Lundby Lisaksi kutsuttu, mutta ei kai ole Lundby?), 1:16 -mittakaavaa, suunnilleen. Olen onnellinen, on minulla jo tähän yksi huonekalukin viimeviikolta, punainen suihkukoppi 70-luvun Lundbytä! Tämä lienee suhteellisen helppo ja mukava projekti kun runko on valmiina ja ihan hyvässä kunnossa. Vähän uutta lattiapintaa ja tapettia vain kaipaa!

This is a Lisa dollhouse, sometimes called Lundby Lisa but I believe it's not Lundby (you might know better)! It's 1:16 scale and I already have one furniture, a red shower, 70's Lundby :)

I think it's going to be a nice short term project, just a bit of new floors and wall paper!
