Haaste - A Challenge!

Kuvapostaus! Jos sinä, nukkekotibloggaaja, näet tämän postauksen, olet haastettu tekemään samanlaisen selvityksen omasta nukkekodistasi (kaikista tai vain yhdestä, päätä sinä!). Tarkoituksena olisi siis kuvata kaikki huoneet erikseen ja sen lisäksi kuva koko talosta :) Minusta on aina niin hauska nähdä kokonaisuuksia! This post is purely about photos, but first I'd like to challenge you all with a doll house blog: please do a same kind of a post of your house (or houses, you can choose!). I'd love seeing "the whole picture", all the rooms and also a picture of the whole house in a same post! If you'll accept my challenge which I would appreciate very much, please comment on this post, I'd be really happy to see your house this way :)

The whole house on 19th of October 2014!

 Tässä vielä messuostokseni Suuresta Snadista! Hienon palmun on tehnyt Nukkekoti Sonaatin Kati, ihanan kahvipannun ja suloisien tyynyjen tekijöitä en valitettavasti muista (ilmoittautukaa jos näette tämän :). Todella sirot ja ohuet keramiikkaruukut ovat englantilaisen Carol Mannin kätten töitä, Carol oli tullut myymään messuille ja minä olin kyllä aivan ihastuksissani näistä! Mitään ei ollut tehty muoteilla, vaan dreijaamalla, ihana värimaailma ja muutenkin mahtavaa, että joku voi saada elantonsa tekemällä savitöitä miniatyyriväen iloksi! En löytänyt Carolin nettisivuja, mutta täältä voi ihailla hänen töitään.

Here is what I bought from a fair called Suuri Snadi! The beautiful palm tree is by Kati from Nukkekoti Sonaatti, but unfortunately I don't know the makers of the lovely glass coffee pot and the pillows. Three oh-so-beautifyl ceramic pots are made by Carol Mann from England, I was totally excited in front of her table! What colors, what talent! I couldn't find her web site, but here you can admire some of her lovely creations. She makes these as her "real job" which is really great!

Saunakamari - Sauna cabin

Olen rakennellut saunaa, koska pesuhuone talosta vielä puuttuu. Koska itse talossa ei ole tilaa, pihalle tulee erillinen sauna kamareineen. Tässä muutamia juttuja, jotka tulevat kamarin puolelle! Kaappi on Karoliinalta ja ihanat perhoskannut ja -lautanen (sekä kissakannu ja kanalautanen) Kaisalta :)

I've been building a sauna cabin because there's no washing room in the house and no room either! So there will be a building on the yard (which is something quite common in older Finnish houses). Here's a few things that will be there, not in the sauna but it's dressing room! Cabinet is from Karoliina and the jugs and plates from Kaisa. Lovely :)

We've had a very warm summer, hopefully you too!

Päivä rannalla - A day on the sea shore

Kotikaupungissamme Espoossa järjestettiin hieno harrastajien yhteenkerääntyminen. Mekin kävimme piipahtamassa!

There was a doll house meeting in our hometown Espoo. We were also there!

Oipas se mukava rantapäivä! Olis myös tosi kiva nähdä netissä näkemiään taitavia miniatyyrejä.

It was a fun day on the beach! It was very nice too see everybody's beautifully done miniatures.

Koska tapasimme Suomenojan venesatamassa, päätimme lyödä kaksi kärpästä kerralla ja risteillä Espoon saaristoveneellä Isoon Vasikkasaareen ja takaisin. Kaunis päivä, mukava retki!

BEcause we met in the place where Espoo Archipelago Boat stops, we made a little tour in Espoo archipelago. Beautiful day and beautiful sea!

Pyörä, vaja & piknik - Bicycle, shed and a picnic

Kaksosilla on tietenkin tandempyörä! Olen tämän kierrätyskeskuksesta ostanut (ja näitä on toinenkin, valkoinen, jos sattuisi tämän kanssa epäonnistumaan). Vanteet maalasin hopeisiksi, päällystin satulat ja ohjaustangot, ja askartelin soittokellon. Soittokello on tärkeä, toivoisi sitä suomalaistenkin enemmän käyttävän, kun usein takaa tulevasta pyörästä ei kuule muuten mitään!

What do the twins ride? A tandem bike, of course! It was found in the recycling center with another white one (I'm keeping it to make sure I won't be left without if I damage this one…). I painted the wheels silvery and made the covers for the seats and handlebars. I also made the bell which is very important in my opinion! Sometimes bikes are so quiet you can't hear them and are in danger to be drove over.

Näin tuo soittokello on tehty: kaksi nastan hattua (sellaista mallia josta irtosi koko metalliosa, näistä vanhoista joita kuvassa on ei irtoaisi, mutta voihan piikin leikata pois), pienen kellotiu'un kieli, sinitarraa väliin ja valmista tuli!

Making-of the ring bell: to pin heads (these came from pins the plastic part was easily removed but you could just cut the needle away), a small bell's sting? clapper? (the part making the sound anyway), blue-tack in the middle and you're ready!

Soittokello paikallaan (sinitarrakiinnityksellä sekin). Satulat on päällystetty kangastilkuilla, jotka on kiinnitetty alapuolelle maalarinteipillä, sangat taas edesmenneen Tiimarin kangasteipillä.

Bell on it's right place (attached with blue-tack, too). The saddles are covered with pieces of fabric and taped on place underneath each saddle, handles are covered with fabric tape.

Ja tässä Erja Helanderin mahtavasta liiteri-kitistä koottu liiterinpoikanen! Tähän tulee pieni puucee ja tietenkin se halkovarasto myös. Näette sitten!

This is a wood shed from Erja Helander's kit! So cute though real-life wood sheds I don't consider that cute. There will be an out-side lavatory and of course place to store wood. You'll see soon!

Kun me ahkeroimme, minikokoiset Anna ja Leeni ottivat rennosti kesäisissä tunnelmissa. Olivatpa he eilen meriaiheisessa nukkekotitapaamisessa, joka varmaan verotti voimia vielä tänäänkin! Siitä enemmän myöhemmin.

While we were working hard on building, tiny Anna and Leeni were chilling out. They were yesterday in a doll house meeting that took there strenght still today! More to come about that later on!

Mminiherkut ovat suurimmilta osin Jatan käsialaa, letut on tehnyt Happy Little Muffinin Mirja ja jäätelöt Elämää koossa 1:12 -blogin Susanna. Päivänvarjo, kansituoli ja piknik-kori on saatu ystäviltä lahjaksi, vaatteet, simpukkarasia ja täkit omatekemiä.

Mini foods are mostly made by Jatta, pancakes by Mirja from Happy Little Muffin and ice creams by Susanna from Elämää koossa 1:12. Day shade, sun chair and picnic basket are gifts from friends and clothes, duvets and sea shell box are self made.

Iloista kesälomaa niille jotka sen ovat jo aloittaneet :)

Lahden markkinat ja vaihto Paulan kanssa - Doll House Fair in Lahti and swap with Paula

Kävimme Leeni-siskon kanssa ensimmäistä kertaa nukkekotimarkkinoilla Lahdessa (siis olemme kerran aikaisemminkin käyneet aivan väärään aikaan vuotta aivopieruni johdosta). Ihania tavaroita! Keskityimme huonekaluihin, koska meillä ei ole taitoa eikä välineitä puutöihin.

Me and my sister Leeni went to the doll house fair in Lahti. A lot of lovely stuff! We bought mostly furniture as we are not so good in making them.

Yllä oleva ihana tuoli on Kotte Toysin kitistä tehty. Osat olivat sahattuina vanerilevyllä, josta ne oli helppo irroittaa. Kasaaminenkin sujui kivuttomasti, vaikka vähän hirvitti ohuiden osien kanssa. Meidän tuolimme on tanskalainen pottatuoli! Pehmusteen alla on nimittäin reikä ja tila potalle. Pöytä on Gepetton kustavilainen pöytä, myös kitti.

This sweet chair is made from a Swedish Kotte Toys kit. Table is also made from a kit, by Gepetto which is the same place I've ordered this doll house the first place.

Vaihdoin minejä hollantilaisen Paulan kanssa. Kuvassa oleva ihana puujoutsen on hänen tekemänsä. Sain myös suloiset matkalaukut, hedelmälaatikon, koristetyynyn (näkyvät muista huoneesta otetuissa kuvissa) sekä hollantilaisen juustolautasen josta en ymmärtänyt vielä ottaa kuvaa. Kauniita, taitavia käsitöitä!

I made a swap with Paula recently. Mine are still on the way to her, but hopefully will reach her soon! Her little things are so lovely, I especially adore this wooden swan she made. I also got cute suitcases, a fruit box, a pillow (seen on the photos later on) and Dutch cheese plate that I forgot to photoshoot.

Tämä tekemäni lipasto sai vihdoin vetimet Kotte Toys -kittien puuroskasta.

This drawer finally got it pulls from the wood waste from Kotte Toys kit.

Ullakon huonekalujärjestys vähän muuttui siten, että tuleva aumakatto mahtuu todella kiinni!

We changed the furniture order on the attic a bit so that the roof to be will be actually able to close!

Lipasto on myös Gepetton kitti. Söpö!

Also this drawer is by Gepetto. Cute, isn't it!

Puutarhakalusto on myös Kotte Toysin. Todella helpot koota ja pysyvät kasassa ilman liimaakin! Niin sievät. Tästä lähtee vihdoin pihan rakennus.

The garden furniture is also from Kotte Toys kit. So easy to assemble and they even didn't need any glue! Cute too. This is the beginning of the garden.
